For example, will ‘marketing’ from one input join with ‘MARKETING’ from another input or not? If not, what is a quick work around to get them to join properly?
Answer:
The join tool in Alteryx IS case sensitive. In the example you provided ‘marketing’ and ‘MARKETING’ would not join. See the attached images for examples of what will and wouldn’t join. To reiterate, only data points with the same spelling, case, and leading and trailing spaces will join.
